Famiiiily, if you just bought a chip from Claro and don’t know how to activate it… relax, I’ll explain real quick how to do it step by step, without getting confused 💁♀️💁♂️

Yes, it’s basic but important. Turn off the phone, put the SIM in the slot, and turn it back on 🔄
📡 You should see a network signal (the typical little bars at the top). If not, wait a few seconds or restart again.

Open the phone app and dial:
*611# → Call
Or you can also call 611 directly (it’s free). They’ll guide you through the activation 📞📋
Sometimes just inserting the chip activates it automatically, but if not, this is the manual way to do it.
📝 STEP 3: Register your data (if they ask for it)
In some countries, by law, you have to register the chip with your name and ID 📄
If that’s your case, they’ll ask you by call or SMS, or you can do it online from the official Claro website (do NOT use sketchy links 🔐)
📦 Is the chip prepaid or postpaid?
✅ If it’s prepaid, once activated you can top up and use it.
✅ If it’s postpaid, it’s probably already activated from when they gave it to you, but you can still check by calling 611 just in case.
💡 Quick tips:
🔹 If you’re not getting signal, make sure the chip is properly inserted.
🔹 If it asks for a PIN, check the plastic card the SIM came on.
🔹 If after all that it still doesn’t work, try the chip in another phone.
🔹 And if nothing works… customer service: 📞 0800-00123 (varies by country, look up the one for your area).
