What I usually recommend (and often use in team projects) is compressing the folder into a ZIP or RAR file before sending it. This way you can share hundreds of images in a single file, keeping the order and without losing quality. Simply create the compressed file, open the desired chat, and attach it as a document, not as a photo.
Another alternative is to use WhatsApp Web or the desktop version, which make it easier to manage files from your PC.
