🎧 How to download a WhatsApp audio? I’ll explain it to you in a simple way 😎

Hellooo everyone 😄 Today I come with something that surely has happened to you more than once:

Whether it’s a voice note, a piece of evidence, a recipe, some gossip… whatever it is, but you don’t want to lose it for anything in the world 😂

Well, don’t worry, because I’ll explain how to download it WITHOUT any hassle:

📱 For Android phones:

1. Open the chat where the audio you want is.
2. Long press the audio (yes, like when you’re going to forward it).
3. Tap the three dots at the top right ⠇and tap “Forward”.
4. Now tap the little icon for sharing (the typical one that looks like a triangle with dots).
5. There you choose “Save to Drive” or “Send to your email” or you can even upload it to Google Keep or wherever you feel like 😎

🗂️ If you want to get more technical:
Go to <a href="https://www.chusmeando.com/informatica-y-tecnologia/trucos-whatsapp/porque-no-puedo-descargar-archivos-de-whatsapp-web/” title=”Porque no puedo descargar archivos de whatsapp web”>File Manager > Internal Storage > WhatsApp > Media > WhatsApp Voice Notes or WhatsApp Audio… there are ALL the audios saved by date. But I’ll warn you now that it’s a bit chaotic to search that way 😅

🍏 For iPhone:

This is more of a pain, honestly 🙄, but it can be done.

1. Open the chat with the audio.
2. Long press the audio > tap “Forward”.
3. Tap the share icon and then “Save to Files”.
4. Send it to iCloud, to your Notes app, or email it to yourself. Whatever works best for you 💌

💡 Little trick: If you have a Mac, you can open WhatsApp Web and drag the audio straight to your desktop 😍

💻 You can also use WhatsApp Web/Desktop

This is the fastest way, honestly.

1. Go to web.whatsapp.com from your computer.
2. Scan the QR code with your phone.
3. Enter the chat, find the audio, and tap the download button (little arrow pointing down ⬇️).
4. Done! It saves as an .ogg or .opus file (which you can open with VLC or convert if needed).

And that’s it 😁 I hope it helps you. I discovered this after a thousand years of forwarding audios to myself hahahaha 🤦‍♂️
