🛠️💻 computer“>Hey, if your computer is running terribly, nothing opens, or it’s super slow… try this before you drive yourself crazy: restart it in SAFE MODE. Let me tell you how I do it without any complications 👇
I recommend checking out this article, it’s interesting: excel-y-como-te-beneficia-en-el-dia-a-dia/” title=”How Excel Works and how it benefits you in your day-to-day life” class=”internal-recommendation” target=”_self” rel=”noopener”>How Excel Works and how it benefits you in your day-to-day life.
Look, safe mode is like starting up your PC in basic mode, without any weird stuff or programs slowing it down. Just the essentials so it works and you can fix things from the inside.
How do you get into safe mode?
➡️ If your computer starts up normally:
- You click on Start
- Then on Restart, but watch out 👉 while you click it, press the Shift key (the one with the little arrow pointing up).
- A blue menu appears. You click on Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Startup Settings.
- You click on Restart and when it turns back on, you choose option 4 or 5 (safe mode with networking if you want to have internet).
➡️ If your computer won’t even start up properly:
After the third failed startup attempt (when you restart it forcefully), Windows enters recovery on its own. From there you do the same as above: Troubleshoot, etc.
And what is this good for?
Well, it’s good for:
✅ Removing viruses or weird programs
✅ Uninstalling things that are preventing it from starting
✅ Seeing if the problem is the system or some program
✅ Recovering files if you can’t get in normally
Buddy tip:
Once you’re in safe mode, don’t install or download weird stuff. It’s only for checking and fixing. When you’re done, restart normally and off you go.
If you’ve ever had your PC completely stop working and this saved you, tell us about it. Sometimes with these little tricks you avoid taking it to a technician and paying a fortune. 🙌
