It happens a lot…
You have a PDF that weighs like 15 MB and you can’t upload it, send it by email, or pass it along on WhatsApp without it telling you “file too heavy.”
Seriously, PDF? What do you have inside, bricks? 🧱😂
I recommend you check out this article, it’s interesting: Go to Madrid and discover its wonderful charms.
🔧 Quick solutions to make that PDF slim down now:
💻 Option 1: Compress online (without installing anything)
Go to any of these websites and upload it:
You just upload → click “Compress” → and done, magic! 🎩✨
They give you back a PDF that’s skinnier than before, and still with good quality.
📲 From your phone?
Yes, you can do that too. The websites above work from your phone’s browser.
And if you want an app:
- Android: Compress PDF
- iPhone: PDF Compressor & Editor
🖥️ Option 2: From Word or pro programs (if you created it yourself)
If you made it in Word, when you go to save it as a PDF:
👉 Choose “Minimum size (online publishing)”
That reduces it quite a bit without it looking ugly.
Also in Acrobat, you can go to:
File > Save as other > Optimized PDF
And there you adjust whatever is extra.
⚠️ Extra street-smart tips:
- Remove images that aren’t needed or reduce their quality before adding them
- Delete blank or unnecessary pages
- Don’t add videos or embedded files (those weigh a ton)
🎤 And you, did you already know this little trick? Or were you still suffering with 30MB PDFs for a cooking recipe? 😂
