Well yes, what seemed impossible has happened… Last night, the main stage of Tomorrowland in Belgium caught fire and was completely destroyed. And now the whole world is asking the same thing: will this year’s festival be cancelled? 😰

According to the organizers, there are no injuries (thank goodness), but the damage has been brutal. The images circulating on social media are insane: the whole setup burning, like something out of a movie.
🧯 Apparently, the firefighters already have it under control and it’s still not known what caused the fire. That said, they were already setting everything up to open on Friday, so there were workers at the venue, although there was no public yet.
🚫 Is Tomorrowland cancelled?
Here comes what’s leaving people the most heartbroken: some attendees have started saying they received cancellation emails, but the organizers have denied it and said that’s fake news. Even so, they haven’t confirmed whether the event will go ahead or not… so we’re all crossing our fingers 🙏

For those who love electronic music, Tomorrowland isn’t just any festival. It’s THE festival. And to think that after 20 years it could be in jeopardy because of this… it’s sad.
All that’s left is to wait and see what they decide. Hopefully they can pull it off and celebrate, even if it’s in a different way. Because what you experience there, you don’t experience anywhere else.
