Let’s see guys 😅 I’ve been asked about this several times and since I was in that same boat not long ago, I’ll tell you here in case it helps anyone 😌👇

The thing is, I wanted to have <a href="https://www.chusmeando.com/informatica-y-tecnologia/trucos-whatsapp/restaurar-copia-de-seguridad-de-whatsapp-antigua/” title=”La Estrategia para no Empezar de Cero en WhatsApp Nunca Más”>two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone (one for work and another for the gossip hahaha 💼💬). And it is possible, you don’t need to have two phones, let me explain how I did it:
🛠️ Option 1: Dual app (your phone already comes with this)
Many phones already have this feature. It’s called something like “Dual Apps”, “App Clone” or “Dual Messenger”, depending on the brand.
🔹 If you have a Samsung, go to:Settings > Advanced features > Dual Messenger
🔹 On Xiaomi:Settings > Apps > Dual apps
🔹 On Huawei, Realme, etc., they have it too, you just have to search for “clone” or “dual” in settings ⚙️
There you select WhatsApp and the phone creates a copy for you 🔁. You add another number and that’s it: 2 WhatsApps in one! 📱📱
🛠️ Option 2: WhatsApp Business
If your phone doesn’t have the app cloning thing, another great option is <a href="https://www.chusmeando.com/informatica-y-tecnologia/trucos-whatsapp/es-posible-encontrar-una-api-de-whatsapp-business-gratis/” title=”api de whatsapp business cloud”>downloading WhatsApp Business from the Play Store or App Store.
It’s exactly the same as the regular one, except it says “Business” in the name 🤓. It lets you use a different number without touching the WhatsApp you already have.
➡️ I have the regular one with my personal number and the Business one with my work number, all on the same phone. It works great! 🙌
⚠️ A few things to keep in mind
🔸 You need to have two different numbers, meaning 2 SIMs or one SIM + eSIM, or a virtual number (like Google Voice, but that’s a whole other story).
🔸 Don’t mix up the chats, or you’ll end up sending stickers to your boss by accident 🤡
