If you’re looking to improve your internet connection, you’ve probably heard about infinitum packages. But do they really offer the speed they promise? In this analysis, we reveal everything you need to know before signing up.
Telmex’s infinitum packages have positioned themselves as one of the most popular options in Mexico. With speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps, these packages include fiber-optic internet, a phone line, and, in some cases, streaming services like Netflix or Disney+.
What do Infinitum packages include?
Depending on the plan you choose, infinitum packages can include:
- Symmetric fiber-optic internet (same upload and download speed).
- Unlimited calls to national numbers.
- Access to entertainment platforms.
- WiFi repeater or mesh for better coverage.
One of the main draws is the value for money. However, experts recommend checking fiber-optic availability in your area, since not all households have the necessary infrastructure.
In conclusion, infinitum packages are a solid option if you’re looking for stability and additional services. But before signing up, compare real speeds and read the fine print about installation costs.
