Guys, I’m leaving you this tip that maybe you already know, but more than one person has asked me 🤭:

So they can see where you are while you’re on your way, or so you don’t have to keep saying “I’m leaving now” when you’re just putting on your shoes 😂

🚶♀️ What is this good for?
Literally, it’s so the other person can see where you are on the map, in real time. Ideal if:
- You’re heading to a date and you don’t want to be asked every 2 min 🥴
- You went on a trip and your family wants to know where you are 🚗
- Or just to feel like you’re on a secret FBI mission 👀
📱 How to activate real-time location (super easy):
- Open the chat with the person or group 👥
- Tap the clip 📎 (as if you were going to send a photo)
- Choose Location 📍
- Tap “Share live location”
- Choose how long you want to share it for (15 min, 1h, or 8h) ⏱️
- And that’s it! You can see yourself moving on the map 💃🕺
🔒 Chill, you can stop sharing whenever you want. Just hit “Stop sharing” and that’s it.
🤔 Things you need to know
✅ It works with an internet connection, if you run out of data or WiFi it stops updating.
✅ The other person also needs to have WhatsApp updated.
✅ It works the same on Android and iPhone, no matter the phone.
