Ok, folks… I had to share this because I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought that returning something at Shein was like trying to do paperwork at the bank on a Monday at 8am 😩. Spoiler: it’s not. I just returned a dress that didn’t fit me even close (haha yes, the size betrayed me 🫠) and it was surprisingly easy. Here’s the step by step in case it helps someone:
🛒 1. Go to “My orders” in the app or website
I logged into my account, went to “My orders” and looked for the item. Right there was an option that says Return (with an icon you can’t miss 🙌). You click it and that’s it, the process starts.
❓ 2. They ask you why you’re returning it
Nothing serious, you just check the reason (I put “wrong size”, obviously 🙃). They don’t judge you, and you don’t have to give long explanations. All chill.
🖨️ 3. They give you a label to print
This is where I said “I’m done for” because I don’t have a printer 😅, but I downloaded it and printed it at a print shop near my house. It was cheap and fast. You stick that label on the package the clothes came in. If you can reuse the bag or box it arrived in, even better ♻️.
📦 4. You take the package to the point they indicate
For me it was to take it to the Post Office, but it can vary depending on the country. They explain everything clearly in the app, you can’t go wrong. You just take the package with the label and that’s it, you don’t pay anything (the first return attempt of each order is FREE 😍).
⏳ 5. You wait for your refund
They say it takes about 5 to 10 business days. I asked for it to be refunded to my Shein balance because I already know I’m going to buy again (oh, I have no self-control 😂).
An extra tip 💡:
If something arrived broken or stained, upload photos when you make the request. That way they approve it faster and don’t give you a hard time.
