If you’re looking for internet for your home and have seen ads for WOM Hogar everywhere, you’re probably wondering if it’s really worth it. The truth is that this company came to revolutionize the telecommunications market in Chile with prices that leave more than one person speechless. But is everything that glitters gold? Here we tell you what you need to know before signing up.
WOM Hogar offers fiber optic plans with speeds ranging from 200 Mbps to 1 Gbps, and the best part: no fine print or long-term contracts. That means you can leave whenever you want if the service doesn’t convince you. In addition, its prices tend to be between 20% and 30% lower than direct competitors, which makes it a very attractive option for students, families, and those who work from home.
Another point in its favor is free installation and the router included at no additional cost. However, not everything is perfect: in some communes coverage is still limited, and customer service has received mixed reviews. If you live in rural areas or far from the urban center, it’s worth checking availability on their website first.
In short, WOM Hogar is an excellent alternative if you’re looking for speed, low price, and flexibility. But as always, compare coverage and read reviews from your area before taking the plunge. Your wallet and your patience will thank you!
